2. TEAM EPIC will review the information on the form and reach out to you as soon as possible. A course of action will be determined based on the information you share with us. Whether it is a trap you need, Search Dog/s or flyers etc.. We have many tricks up our sleeves and many different techniques to apply based on your pet’s behavior. We will be by your side to assist until we are no longer needed.

3. Payment: All payments are expected upfront to secure your time slot on our schedule. Visit our PAY HERE page for payment details. DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT UNLESS YOU HAVE SPOKEN TO AN EPIC TEAM MEMBER. We will assist you with any questions.

DEPLOYMENT DETAILS ARE BELOW:

K-9 SEARCH & RECOVERY: (Cost varies) If it is determined that you need our K-9s to be deployed, then you will be partnered with one of our K-9 Teams and your case will be turned over to them. Using search dogs can help elevate your recovery efforts. Although “Walk-up finds” are rare, our dogs can assist in getting you information we would not have without their assistance.

HUMANE TRAPPING: In many situations, it is necessary for us to humanely trap your pet. Typically, you will be asked to participate in the trapping of your pet. This is something you will definitely want to be part of. If there is a reason that you cannot participate, just let us know!.. We are here to help you!!.. We will go over in detail of what to expect.

You, as the pet’s owner, will be a vital part of the recovery and will be included in all aspects of it. This includes having your phone # on your signs, being the first point of contact for witnesses and working closely with your EPIC Trapper.

Trapping is often needed to safely secure a lost pet. Many times when a lost pet goes into “survival mode”, they disconnect and will no longer recognize their owner. Therefore, depending on the circumstances, sometimes the safest way to recover a lost pet is to deploy one of our many different types of traps. If they are staying in a certain location, then a trap can be deployed. Sometimes we have to try and manipulate a situation, using different techniques in order to get a lost pet to stay in one area. We do not chase lost pets by deploying traps in random locations. We get your pet to commit to a location prior to trap deployment. This helps to get them to settle and become more trusting of the trap instead of spooking them out of the area. In some instances, we have to channel our inner Daniel Boone and track your pet. This means that using our knowledge of lost pet behavior, your pet’s profile, current patterns and behavior, will help determine the path your pet might take so we can stay ahead of them. You will be partnered with an EPIC Trapper that will help you deploy one of our traps and be by your side, through the trapping process.

IMPORTANT: Trapping is very much a behavior based situation. This doesn’t always happen overnight. We ask that you are patient and trust us with our process. We have several years of trapping experience and will implement our techniques to assist you in the safe trapping of your lost pet.

OUR EQUIPMENT: We use a wide variety of styles of traps and cameras. Everything from the traditional humane box style trap to the Missy & EPIC kennel style traps w/ swinging doors & guillotine doors. These kennel traps vary in size based on what is needed. Our cameras range from the basic trail camera to the more advanced LIVE FEED cameras. We also have a wide array of tools, gadgets and gizmos to help reunite you and your pet.

LASTLY: After you complete the LOST PET FORM, you will be contacted by TEAM EPIC. We do our best to respond in a timely manner. We respond to Lost Pet forms in the order they are received. Please be patient as all members of our team also have FT jobs or are in the field helping others.
